How to Sell at PFM

Selling at PhotoFleamarket is simple!

Just follow the easy automated steps listed below:

I. Register as a Seller

Before you begin, you will need:

1. A digital image of a government issued document confirming your identity. Documents that may be acceptable include: Drivers license, passport, birth certificate, cedula, etc. The image can be a scanned image, or a legible closeup photograph of the document.
   
   
2. If you would like to receive payment by wire transfer, you will need the appropriate information from your bank for receiving wire transfers. If you would like to receive payment by means of Western Union, or MoneyGram, you will need the name and location of the branch where you will receive the money.

When you are ready, the next step is to enter the required information in the two registration forms.

The first form is the Contact Information form. Here you will enter your contact information and upload the copy of your identification from your computer.

The second form is the Payment Preferences form. Here you will provide the details of how you would like to receive payment. Be sure to write down the Seller Identification Number that will display at the top of this page. This number will serve as your password for logging in to PhotoFleaMarket in the future.

Thats all there is to it! At this point, you are a registered seller at PhotoFleaMarket and ready to begin creating a package.

II. Create a Package

The package creation process comprises three steps:

1. First, you will choose the appropriate category for your package. Then you will Enter the details of the package you are creating in the Package Information form. You will need to indicate whether you are selling all rights to the package (the copyright), or only the right to use the material. You will enter a name for the package and a description of the contents of the package. If the package is being submitted to an "Adult" category, there will be the additional step of uploading from your computer copies of identification verifying the age of all participants in adult scenes.
   
   
2. Next, you will sign and submit the seller agreement using the  online signature box. It is suggested that you print a copy as well.
   
   
3. Then you will upload the image or video files that comprise the contents of the package. Be sure to write down the Package Identification Number that will display when the upload is complete so that you can make changes to the package.

Notes on Package Creation

• Packages must contain only material that you own the rights to, either as the creator, or owner of a purchased copyright.
  
  
• Decide carefully whether you want to sell the copyright to your package or only the use of the material. If the material is of interest only to a limited audience, you are probably better off selling the rights to a single purchaser. Note that the option of selling the rights to a package (one time sale) is only available if the contents of the package have never been sold, or distributed, or published in any form previously. The minimum sale price to sell the rights is $50.
  
  If your content appeals to a wide audience, you may make more money in the longer term by selling only the right to use the material to multiple purchasers. The purchaser of the right to use the package, acquires the right to use or publish the material as he sees fit, but acquires no exclusive rights and may net resell the material. You retain the copyright.
  
  
• Be aware of the bandwidth requirements for both uploading and downloading of the package. A package with large images such as those taken by a high megapixel digital camera, or large videos, can take a very long time to upload and to download, particularly with a dialup connection. We recommend that you use EditOnline to resize and optimize your images prior to upload. PFM may limit package size to 50mb.
  
  
• Keep backup copies of your images and video. Photofleamarket is not responsible for any loss of media.
  

What about the $$ ?

You receive 75% of the sale price of your package when it is sold. PhotoFleaMarket keeps 25%. PhotoFleaMarket pays the costs of processing the sales transaction. You pay any transaction costs for receiving payment if you choose to receive payment by any means other than check by regular mail. The choices for receiving payment include: Check by regular mail, Check sent by Federal Express, Wire transfer, Western Union transfer, and MoneyGram transfer.

Payment is made to sellers monthly unless the option (on the Package Information form) of holding payment until the account balance reaches a certain amount is specified.
